A NY native and local Cinematographer, Mike has over 16 years of experience in the Film & Video Industry.
Starting his career in 2008, Mike gained valuable experience assisting seasoned production crews across departments on a variety of indie features, shorts, music videos, commercials, and corporate videos.
In 2016, Mike joined The Huffington Post's video team and traveled extensively throughout the US for 5 years filming over 100 videos and lighting countless interview subjects for mini-docs, explainer videos, op-ed pieces, live hits, and various multimedia studio shoots.
Currently, Mike is a DP for hire, focusing on Vérité Cinematography and storytelling. He excels at lighting interviews and sets for news, doc, corporate, nonprofit entities, as well as indie films and food-based content.
Mike holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies from the College of Staten Island, CUNY.
